Keragel 6501 is a high quality wax based material that has been introduced to help cope with applications with a wider extreme of temprature range. It has been successfully used where the sufrace temperateure is over 40°C (100°F) and where the overnight or seasonal temperature can fall significantly below 0°C (32°F). Containing a unique additive to achieve higher temperatrue stability, this product is made from the highest quality materials and is specially formulated to provide longevity and consistency to a synthetic equestrian surface – either outdoor or indoor.
Typically Keragel 6501 has a congealing point of around 82°C (180°F) with a melting point of around 98°C (200°F); it is designed to be flexible at cold temperatures whilst giving cohesion and body to the surface at hotter temperatures.
