Finance Director - Kerax Limited

As Kerax’s financial controller I am responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts & year-end completion in advance of audit. I am responsible for the day to day management of the company’s finance, recording the progress of work & staff, reporting my findings to the CEO.

I manage the finance team ensuring that the work is accurate & meets recommended standards. I ensure that the staff know what tasks need to be done and the deadlines they need to complete them by. We manage Kerax’s financial transactions ensuring that there is a backup kept on file and all information is correctly recorded. I also supervise and mentor an apprentice as they take their accountancy exams.

The main part of my finance role involves reviewing VAT, PAYE and PIID submissions and overseeing the payroll processing. I also manage the internal HR issues before referring to 3rd party HR company. This involves meeting with the other departments to gather information needed for finance, check on staff progress and discuss any issues that arise.

The best part of doing my job is the variety each day brings and seeing how my contribution has helped with the company’s success.
